The Golfing Days Matchplay Championship is a knockout golf competition open to amateur golfers in the Midlands.

There is an Individual competition and a Betterball Pairs event both played on a matchplay format. To enter you must be a member of a golf club in the Midlands and have an official CONGU handicap.

Golfers are allocated in to one of four regions based on their golf clubs location - North, East, South or West. The first round is played over 36 holes on a home and away basis. Winners will then continue to compete against their fellow golfers to try and win their region and qualify through to the Midlands Finals.

The winners of the individual and pairs competition at The Midlands Finals will win fantastic cash vouchers.

On behalf of the children, staff and friends of Menphys, I am writing to thank Golfing Days for raising a wonderful £1200 for the sketchley Hill Menphys Nursery. The golf went fantastically well and made getting up at 3.30am to support the golfers well with the effort. We will be using the money to buy outside play equipment for all the children to enjoy. The project was extremely ambitious for a small nursery like us and could not have been possible without the generous support of Golfing Days.
